The Hauntingly Beautiful mousemoon are concerned with the creation of music, art and atmospheres, which aim to inspire the release and celebration of the human spirit. Every show, as they see it, is an opportunity to express, mystify, confuse and/or alienate. Upon the happily rolling music scene they have imposed their own inimitable style of public activity, altering that same scene in a throbbing and tempestuous manner.

A group of many with 5 core members. They are also expanded by a dedicated group of creative people focusing on sound, projections, installation art, costume design, photography, video, merchandising, and a myriad of talented performance artists such as stilt walkers, beat poets, dancers, life sized puppets and the like. This team put on events of an unusual nature, aspiring to create something, quite separate to themselves as an entity, which can be looked upon as more and hopefully enthuse folk.

If you had to categorize mousemoon musically, think about the love child of Pink Floyd, and, say, Nine Inch Nails… throw in a bit of Led Zeppelin, some Jeff Buckley/Robert Plant vocals, some Lemmy and Townsend stage antics, add a dash of The Darkness’ sense of humour, the genre-hopping eclecticism of The Beatles and some current dark post-modernism of Radiohead/Sigur Ros and there you have it.
