The Paper Scissors are a celebration; at times bitterly pissed off and loud, at others, smiling and jumping about, fusing a much neglected gap between creativity, diversity and pop music.

The Paper Scissors came about when Jai got some money from a big record company, and from evil beginnings good things happened and The Paper Scissors turned from a project into a tight knit group of musicians and humans that make and do.

Their track “We Dont Walk” was first picked up by much respected Sydney community station Fbi, and since then has snowballed; added to rotation on national station Triple J, their clip played weekly on Abc Tv’s Rage, and also being featured on an upcoming Vice Magazine Sampler.

They have started their own ‘Our First Label’ and released their self titled debut EP. They will release an album early 2007.

They are touring for the rest of 2006 until they go into the studio. “Like a midnight soundtrack to giant stuffed animals partying in a toy room while children are sleeping”
